Chalk Art
Here’s some of the chalk art we’ve shared in our neighborhood over the last couple of weeks!
We used the book Learn to Draw Disney Pixar Characters to help us create these characters, and I currently have Learn to Draw Mickey & His Friends in my Amazon cart!
And here’s the Crayola Sidewalk Chalk I was raving about. These are SO vibrant and fun to draw with! It’s overpriced on Amazon right now, but you can get it curbside from Michael’s!
Magical Lighting
Twinkle lights are magical any time of year! I love this inexpensive 4-pack of “fairy” lights I got from Amazon. We’ve woven these through a pom-pom garland and hidden them inside Lego builds to make them light up from the inside. They give off the perfect warm-white glow!
Amazon has tons of options for color-change smart lights, which you can change using Alexa or your smart phone. We have a few of the LIFX bulbs, and if you’re looking for a more budget friendly option these smart bulbs have rated 4.5 stars from over 1,000 reviews!
These are the exact multi-colored party lights Steve set up in our garage for Valentine’s day. They come in a two pack and you can have them cycle through colors, or change with the beat of the music–and they look awesome!
